When White Front stores were closing their doors in 1974, Sam Nassi had an idea. Instead of watching the company struggle to get rid of extra inventory, he conducted onsite "going-out-of-business" sales. Mr. Nassi ended up saving the store tremendous amounts of time and money. He also revolutionized the way an entire industry conducts business.

Soon, The Nassi Group was founded and quickly gained national recognition in 1975 when the U.S. Bankruptcy Court appointed the firm to handle the asset disposition of nearly one thousand W.T. Grant store locations. Today, The Nassi Group continues to offer clients innovative and effective solutions, helping companies through the most difficult situations.
